Shoefayre | Leicester

Shoefayre was a large footwear retailer, which underwent a large period of expansion but hit a brick wall in terms of profitability.  Simon was brought in to conduct a strategic review of the best way to move the company forward.

Some stores were closed but others were opened in better locations.  Concessions were introduced and Far East sourcing helped boost margins.

An e-commerce platform became Shoefayre's biggest revenue branch within 18 months.

The business was losing a considerable amount of money when Simon arrived but he later led its trade sale by which time Shoefayre had reversed its losses.
